April 2012 photos

In April I was on a rural clinic rotation, so I spent most of my free time writing scintillating blog posts about the hospital cafeteria food. Aaron was on psychiatry, so he had an equally interesting month. (For instance, one day, an elderly, demented male patient glared at him from across the room, and pointed at him, yelling out, "That man needs to shave!") We celebrated Holy Week and Easter. We enjoyed visits with friends and family. Good times, good times.

Our jungle. This is what happens to yards when the homeowners are both medical students. Don't judge us. Okay, fine, judge us. Just not too harshly. Please. To be fair, the front yard looked (a bit) better. We're trying to bring down the property value of our neighbor hood. (I jest, I jest.)

Mmmm. Duck pee.

Playing with a non-Newtonian substance! (cornstarch + water = pure delight)

We went to campus to visit Aunt Elizabeth and play in the fountains!

COVERED in berry juice.

I still have a bad habit of taking pictures of food (but this veggie-loaded pizza I made was just so pretty!)

Aunt Sarah, one of Julia's besties!

Dancing with friends!

Enjoying her sandbox from Uncle Stephen and Aunt Jessica and the pink sand from Grandma Mary.

This was waiting for me when I got home from Sallisaw at the end of a long week. Have I mentioned lately that I have the world's sweetest husband?

Gifts from Stanford from dear Maria!

Old friends (Hooray for timers on cameras!)

What a ham!

Julia gets to meet puppy Louis for the first time!

Born to run!
