Happy Birthday, Mary-Claire Thérèse!

I wrote this post the day after my niece, Mary-Claire Thérèse, was born, but waited to post it until I downloaded pictures. Which, apparently, took me over a month! Whoops!

My niece was born yesterday, December 17, at 9:38 am. 7 lbs 6 oz, 20 inches, APGARs 9 & 9. Momma Meghan and baby Mary-Claire are both healthy and doing well!

I am a newly minted aunt and Aaron is now an uncle! And we will become her godparents soon, on the Feast of the Holy Family. Julia has her first first cousin :-), and she is thrilled. She was also thrilled by Mary-Claire's pink balloon.

I know Julia and Mary-Claire are going to be such good friends. Julia will teach all of Mary-Claire her best tricks, like food throwing, hand-in-diaper-digging, the Ray Charles smile for pictures, and watercolor tattoo painting. You're welcome, Meghan and Erik ;-)

But, seriously, what a blessing for Meghan and Erik and for our entire family! Praise God for the gift of Mary-Claire Thérèse! We love you, Mary-Claire!
