Julia's Christmas Program 2014

Julia's first Christmas program was so precious. My mom, Meghan, Mary-Claire and I all attended. I was blessed that a coworker covered my clinic shift so I could be there. Julia wore a dress that my Grandmom Anne had smocked for me when I was little, and she looked adorable in it. Julia was very proud to put on a show for us. It was fun to see how the kids improve as they grow - her class was really cute, but the pre-K classes certainly were able to memorize lines and sing together better, and the kindergarteners that much more so. The pediatrician in me loves seeing displays of progressing development like that ;-) Mary-Claire was SO excited to be there. At the little party afterward, Julia showed Mary-Claire around the classroom and shared snacks with her, which was pretty thrilling for a two-year-old. Such a wonderful memory!

Julia outside school in the morning before the performance.

So excited for the show to start!

So friendly... even after her class was finished singing ;-)

Showing Meghan and Mary-Claire around the preschool classroom.

So happy!
