In March, I was on Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics. It was a good rotation with a wide variety of experiences - I spent time in both the clinic and hospital, and also went all over town to learning about different resources in our community. I even made a couple day trips to OKC to attend their clinics for making autism spectrum disorder diagnoses and for children exposed to noxious substances in utero. Aaron was on ICU Nights, so that was difficult. We rarely ever saw each other, and Aaron didn't get to see too much of Julia, either. He learned a lot, though, and I enjoyed hearing his stories from the ICU. In the ICU, he was often literally saving lives each shift, so I was proud to hear his stories.

| Mardi Gras party! Someone is excited! |
| Attempting to document our liturgical year: Post-Ashes on Ash Wednesday. Julia seems to be feeling a little nervous about the Lent ahead. |
| Fairy Tales with Gee Gee. |
| Late evening fun at the playground. |

| Out for Sushi Train with Mommy AND Daddy! Happy day! |
| I am having a hard time remembering what kind of chocolate confection Julia ate just prior to this... some kind of chocolate lollipop maybe? I love this mash up that google put together... haha! The face in the middle is my favorite. |
| Watch this if you are in a bad mood, and I swear it will make it disappear. |
| This is why Julia is such a smarty pants. |
| I had some afternoons off this month, so Julia and I went to hear a Native American Storyteller at one of the local libraries one afternoon. Here, he was teaching them a Native American song and dance. |
| It was also the birthday of the library's patroness (the branch is named after her), so she had refreshments brought in for her birthday! |
| Julia enjoyed her carrot cake! |
| One day for lunch, we girls had a tea party! |
| Just because. |
| It was a lot of fun! |
| Another glorious afternoon with my girl! We bought a pizza for lunch and brought it to a favorite park. |
| Pilot Papa Gary and his Juju. |
| I think this was on the way home from visiting Elizabeth's apartment. There could be no other explanation for the fact that Julia is covered in sock monkeys from the Treehouse. |
| Supergirl! |
| Supergirl filled her shirt with pebbles... |
| ...carried them to the top of her fortress... |
| ... and dumped the pebbles down the slide before sliding down after them! |
| I'm always itching for things to do around town. I stumbled upon this cool event at a local nursery - planting buckwheat grass in an Easter basket! |
| Julia also got to explore the nursery while we were there, including this cool garden bed filled with ladybugs for sale! |
| Storytime with Miss Rebecca ;-) |
| MC in the costume bin! |
| My Grandmom Anne sewed these gypsy costumes for Elizabeth and Sarah, originally. |
| Happy birthday to my dad! |
| Happy birthday, Papa Gary! |
| I love the timer on my camera. |
| Giving her squishy legs a backrub with a McDonald's toy ship. |
| And a bellyrub, too ;-) |
Oh my goodness, the chocolate faces and the face with the storyteller! Priceless.
