Our first full day at Disney was spent at the Magic Kingdom. It lived up to its name easily. Below are some photos from our day. We went on a ton of rides, but I didn't take photos on most of them (and if I did, they turned out blurry and not really post worthy). Julia was a ride junkie! She loved them. We packed it in from morning to night and had the best day here!

|  So exciting! | |

| Look at Julia wagging her finger. Haha! |
| We went on the flying teacups ride first. |
| Alice and the White Rabbit hopped on right after us! |

Alice in Wonderland, seeing Julia’s “first time” button:
“It’s your first time here? What took you so long?”
Julia: “I was sleeping in the airport!”
| Aaron's parents bought Julia the cutest autograph book. She thoroughly enjoyed collecting autographs and pins as we explored the park. |
The next ride was Dumbo the Flying Elephant.
Me: “Who do you want to ride on Dumbo with?”
Julia: “Dopey!”
Thought it was cute that she thought she could just pick a character to ride with... haha!
| Julia loved going on this little rollercoaster, The Barnstormer, so much that she begged to go on it again when we stopped. |
| Umm... this ride was a huge mistake. Julia was terrified of the Haunted House very quickly into the ride, so we told her to close her eyes and we covered her ears and talked to her about non-scary things the whole way through. |
| After riding Peter Pan and It's a Small World. |
| Parade! Julia was excited to see "Super Guy!" |
| The meal plan was nuts! We ate so much food and it was all really delicious. Most of us had lobster rolls for lunch with homemade potato chips. |
| Goofy! |
| Donald! |
Aaron's parents treated Julia to a princess makeover at the boutique in Cinderella's castle. We hadn't been able to book it ahead of time, but there was an opening when we arrived that morning, and we snagged the appointment. Unfortunately, it was during the midafternoon during Julia's typical naptime after an exhilarating yet really hot and tiring morning.
We had to wait for a while for our appointment. For a while, Julia enjoyed picking out her princess dress.
Julia finally decided on the Cinderella dress, saying, “I
will have this one… and this one will be for Mary-Claire! I will be Cinderella
and Mary-Claire will be Aurora! Aww! She’ll be so adorable!” Imaging baby Mary-Claire with her baby fine hair dressed as Aurora was enough to make me laugh. I loved Julia's enthusiasm for watching out for little Mary-Claire, though!

Finally, though, the wait got to her. Julia, hot and exhausted,
started crying. I asked her why she was crying, and she began sobbing, over and
over, “I’m not a real princess!” A little girl nearby tried to offer a word of comfort: “You
can be a princess for a day!” But Julia was not having it, insisting yet again that she wasn't a "real princess" and continued to cry.
It was finally Julia's turn for the makeover, and she really did enjoy it. Little Julia with her tiny puff of fine hair wasn't the easiest customer, but the ladies were so sweet to her and good at what they do.

| This pistachio creme brulee was fantastic.   |

| We enjoyed the parade that night. |

| We were all so serious in the Toy Story Ride ;-) |
| So beautiful at night. |
| The characters were all SO sweet to Julia. |
| As were the employees. This sweet lady asked Princess Julia for her autograph for her book ;-) |
| Julia's dream came true when she met Mickey Mouse and he talked to her. She was over the moon! |
| Pure joy. |
| It was a great end to a wonderful day! |
