“All I can see is a big Gee head!”

Julia: “What did you do today, Mommy?”
Kaitlin: “I took care of sick kids in the morning… and then in the afternoon, I learned about kidneys. We played kidney Jeopardy and I was kinda mad at myself for getting some easy questions wrong.”
Julia: “Aw, that’s okay, Mommy. Was your brain missing? That happens to me sometimes… like when I call Jessica 'Sarah!' It’s like my brain is gone!”

“Look, Daddy! A-A-R-O-N-S… Aaron’s! That store is named after you!”
“And what’s that store over there called?”
“Sam’s Club… Sam! Like *So-and-so's* boyfriend! Good thing it’s not called *Previous-Boyfriend's-Name’s* Club because *So-and-so* broke up with him!”

Julia, humming and singing while cleaning the playroom with Gee Gee:
“This is my new favorite thing to do! Well…. Not really.”

Kaitlin: “What do you want to be when you grow up?”
Julia: “A post office worker and a rockstar.”
K: “A rockstar, huh? Have you ever seen a rockstar before?”
J: “Yeah! At the library!”
K: “Oh… like the singers who perform for kids at the library? That’s what you want to do as a rockstar?”
J: “Yes!! Exactly! I want to sing for kids at the library!”

Kaitlin: “The doctor is going to play lots of games with you. Don’t be shy, okay?”
Julia: “Mommy, I’m never shy! I love making new friends!”

After a pause, Julia, excitedly: “West!! My daddy taught me Never Enter Santa’s Workshop!”

“Do you want one, Elizabeth? Don’t worry – it’s gluten free. I checked.”

After she got in trouble for something one day, I found this note from her:
“Sorry I did it. I don’t belong ine war [anywhere].”
At first, I thought it was so, so sad... but then I realized it was something she took from the movie Elf.
