If the July was the month we studied our rears off, August was the month we studied our rears off AND we worked our rears off. Aaron was on ICU nights and I was on a general pediatric rotation (2 weeks hospital, 1 week clinic, and 1 week newborn nursery + clinic). Aaron had to leave his rotation early to start a different rotation in Kansas that went by 4 week blocks instead of calendar months, so he had to cram all 20 of his ICU shifts into the earlier part of the month. So yeah, we worked. And tried to keep our studying from July fresh, even though we'd hope to expand on it. Um, super hard.
But, we made it through! I took boards on the 13th and Aaron took them on the 20th. And we celebrated the end with some sushi :-)
Behold the few cute pictures I took this month... probably the fewest I've taken in a month since Julia was born!
