I'm going to try to finish the blog project I started in September taking a little walk down memory lane 2012, filling in the gaps of previous blog posts with some fun photos!
Without further ado... July 2012!
This month, we were on "vacation," a.k.a. studying our rear ends off for Step 2 of boards. Besides studying, we did get to run the
Firecracker 5K, celebrate the fourth of July with my family, go on a great
vacation with Aaron's family and spend some time up in Kansas with them afterward. We also had some fun times during study breaks. But, mainly we studied. A lot.

This bubble machine (or "bubble sheen!" as Julia called it) was seriously awesome. It could make big bubbles, small bubbles, or even small bubbles inside of big bubbles! But then the solution ran out... and none of the other solutions, homemade or store bought, that we tried worked well with it. We seriously need to order more solution online because this toy was one Aaron and I loved as much as Julia!

Summer Reading Club finisher with her prizes! 2 years and counting!

Julia chose her own outfit - tiny shorts, white onesie, and winter boots. Fashion designer in the making? We didn't go out in public in this ensemble.

Fun with Louis!
 |
Good friends.
 |
Grandma Mary bought Julia a ball pit!

The ball pit: a toddler dream come true.

After church, still dressed to the nines.

"Helping" Mommy make eggless cookies.
 |
Headed to the playground!

Julia's first legit ponytail that she left in longer than 37 seconds.

Not sure why parents love taking photos of their children covered in food. But we do.

On our last day of vacation, I wanted to do something fun with Julia, so I suggested to Aaron that we take her to the place near our house with giant inflatables to jump around on. He doubted it was age appropriate, but I seemed so excited that he didn't say anything until we'd already bought tickets to get in. It was TERRIBLY age inappropriate! There were huge kids running everywhere and Julia seemed terrified. Not to mention the fact that she literally didn't know how to jump yet. But, we'd paid a few bucks to get in, so I was determined we'd make the best of it. She was too small to jump by herself, of course, because she would have gotten trampled by all the 6th grade boys... but she actually ended up having lots of fun when her goober parents became the only parents to jump on the inflatables! We all ended up having a good time, and we'll probably go back again... in about 5 years.

We rewarded her bouncing efforts with ice cream. She looks shell shocked, doesn't she? She really did have a fun day! I promise.
